Zoning and permit requirements vary by county (Berkeley, Dorchester, Charleston, etc.). Generally, if you are using the structure for storage, requirements are minimal. If you plan to use it as a residence or "tiny home," we provide a full set of engineered drawings to help you work with your local county office for approval.
2. Can these cabins be used as a primary residence?
Our cabins are sold as high-quality shells. They are built to meet or exceed state and local specifications. While they are not "move-in ready" homes, they are the perfect foundation for a tiny home, guest house, or Airbnb once you add interior finishing, plumbing, and insulation.
3. What foundation or site prep is required?
Your building must be placed on a level surface. We provide free delivery and setup within 50 miles, which includes professional leveling and anchoring. Many customers prefer a gravel pad or concrete blocks, which our team can assist with during installation.
4. Do you offer financing or Rent-to-Own?
Yes! We offer Rent-to-Own (RTO) programs with no credit check required and flexible term lengths. There are no penalties for early payoff. We also offer traditional financing for those who prefer it.
5. Can I customize the layout and features?
Absolutely. Using our 3D Building Designer, you can customize the size, color, porch style, and roofing (metal or shingle). You can also add insulated windows, electrical packages, and different siding options like lap siding to match your vision.
6. Is delivery really free?
We offer free delivery, setup, leveling, and anchoring within 30–50 miles of our Moncks Corner location. If you are outside this radius, contact us for a custom delivery quote.
